OU’s Meadow Brook North Barn is Named the 2016 Barn of the Year

Oakland University’s Meadow Brook North Barn was named the 2016 Barn of the Year in the Non-profit Agricultural or Adaptive Use category by the Michigan Barn Preservation Network.

The 100-year-old barn was recently renovated and the curatorial team at Meadow Brook Hall was involved with researching the history and original look of the barn for the restoration.

The award was given based on the barn’s uniqueness, integrity, and other criteria.
