Strangers on a Train | Thursday, Oct. 1 | 7-10 p.m.
When a young tennis player and a charming psychopath cross paths on a train, it sets off a thrilling act of danger and violence. The psychopath suggests they should “exchange” murders to avoid being caught. The psychopath commits the first murder, then tries to force the tennis player to complete the bargain. “Strangers on a Train” is a classic Hitchcock film considered to be in the top 100 thrillers of all time by the American Film Institute.
Shadow of a Doubt | Thursday, Oct. 8 | 7-10 p.m.
In Alfred Hitchcock’s favorite of his own films, “Shadow of a Doubt,” a charming and lovable uncle takes up residence with his sister’s family. It doesn’t take long for his niece to grow suspicious of her Uncle Charlie, and begins to wonder if he is in fact the “Merry Widow Murderer” in all the newspapers. Tensions build as young Charlotte must decide how to act–especially when it seems her own life is in danger!
