Be inspired by the beauty that surrounds your local National Historic Landmark!
Get crafty in the Garden Tent at Meadow Brook and make your very own printed tote bag using the process of cyanotype printing.
Combining the magic of science and creativity, cyanotype printing is a special medium that involves using light sensitive surfaces and ink to harness the power of the sun. Instructors from Paint Creek Center for the Arts will be on-site to assist guests in making their own unique tote using cyanotype processes and materials from Meadow Brook Hall’s very own gardens and grounds! All supplies and instruction will be provided, and guests will be able to take home their tote once completely developed.
During the developing process, guests are welcome to roam Meadow Brook Hall’s Gardens and Grounds during this special after-hours experience.This event will also feature light snacks. A cash bar will be available to purchase beverages on-site. This event will run rain or shine in our climate controlled Garden Tent at Meadow Brook Hall.
