Meadow Brook Hall invites the community to explore the beauty of the cosmos as Art in the Elements celebrates its 10th anniversary with a limited-run floral art exhibition. The exhibition is now open and runs Wednesday, Sept. 2 through Monday, Sept. 7, with two special evening tours on Sept. 2 and 3.
More than 20 large-scale floral art sculptures and displays created by renowned floral artists from across the nation invite guests to journey “Across the Universe” from black holes and nebulas to the dramatic beauty of the Aurora Borealis. Along the way, visitors may encounter a few surprises from beyond the stars. An infinity of flowers and creativity awaits.
In addition to the outdoor exhibits, guests can step inside Meadow Brook Hall for a self-guided tour featuring floral designs inspired by the mansion’s extensive art collection and distinctive architectural spaces. Admission also includes access to Knole Cottage and Danny’s Cabin, along with the final weekend to visit the estate’s historic playhouses in 2026.
Art in the Elements is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Monday, Sept. 2-7. Guests can also experience the exhibition after dark during special evening events on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 2-3, from 6 to 9 p.m. Floral installations illuminated beneath the night sky create an entirely different atmosphere, and a cash bar will be available during the special evening events.
Advance tickets are required. Admission is $25 for adults, $22.50 for seniors, $20 for Oakland University affiliates and $10 for youth ages 6-12. Oakland University students receive free admission.

Please note, regularly scheduled Meadow Brook Hall tours will not be available during this time. Entrance to the grounds requires a ticket to the Art in the Elements tour.
Accessibility: The main touring route inside the historic mansion is accessible. Art in the Elements also takes visitors into our woodlands on wood-chip and gravel paths, which may not be fully accessible to users of wheelchairs and are not recommended for use by users of electric wheelchairs or power scooters.
