Free Summer Admission for Active Duty Military and their Families

Active duty military personnel and their families can tour Meadow Brook Hall for free this summer, as part of the Blue Star Museum program.

The American flag flies over Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Michigan.Members of the military and their families (up to five family members) can take a Guided House Tour, Guided Behind-the-Scenes Tour or Self-Guided House Tour for free this summer until Labor Day Weekend.

Blue Star Museums is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and museums across America, offering free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve.

The program is now active and will run through Labor Day weekend, ending Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023. Meadow Brook Hall is closed for Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 4, 2023.

To book tickets, guests can call (248) 364-6202 or book onsite in Meadow Brook’s Museum Store. Government-issued ID must be presented.
