Drive big support for Meadow Brook on Feb. 25!

Support Meadow Brook for Oakland University Giving Day

Oakland University Giving Day is a special fundraising effort to drive extra support for your favorite Oakland University initiatives – such as Meadow Brook Hall! Anyone can give! Make your gift go further, beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, with matching funds, special challenges and big support!

As the birthplace of OU and a National Historic Landmark, Meadow Brook is an active and vital resource on OU’s campus and in the broader community.

Like many of our fellow self-supporting, non-profit organizations, philanthropy is an important part of keeping Meadow Brook Hall’s doors open, our collections preserved and our programs engaging for the community.

We are always grateful to our dedicated volunteers, members & donors who give their time, energy and support to Meadow Brook.

More Ways to Give

Meadow Brook’s 1929 Club is a monthly giving club that asks members to give $19.29 a month to support our collections and restoration work, and is named for the year that Meadow Brook Hall was founded.

The 1929 Club launched following a senseless act of vandalism in February 2025, in order to raise the $35,000 needed to restore the damaged historic stained glass windows. The initiative succeeded, and the windows were restored and reinstalled at the historic mansion in August 2025.

Going forward, Meadow Brook’s goal is to raise $25,000 annually through the 1929 Club to help tackle more substantial projects. Pairing the 1929 Club with existing foundation support will have a big impact on preserving this National Historic Landmark.

The next major restoration project is to repair the timber on the East side of Meadow Brook Hall and the historic garage and carriage house. This is a massive project that is kicking off this spring.
