Pairing indoor sights with outdoor lights, Meadow Brook is Michigan’s most dazzling holiday destination. Our two unforgettable holiday events will delight families, couples and people of all ages. By day, our beloved annual Holiday Walk transports visitors through the historic mansion decked in shimmering splendor, while Winter Wonder Lights transforms the estate at night into a breathtaking light show featuring music, seasonal treats and holiday magic.

Tickets will go on sale in October 2024. Tickets must be booked online in advance for a specific date and time. Guests must arrive during their booked entry time.

Holiday Walk

November 29 to December 23, 2024

For more than 50 years, Meadow Brook Hall has delivered a breathtaking holiday experience – transporting visitors through the historic mansion decked in shimmering splendor. Perhaps the most beloved part is our Holiday Walk: a self-guided indoor tour featuring incomparable holiday sights and decorations inside our 110-room estate, featuring more than 50 magnificent trees, flickering fireplaces and lights galore. Perfect for a special day date or family outing.

Winter Wonder Lights

November 29 to December 30, 2024

Enjoy fun concessions, such as glow-in-the-dark cotton candy and popcorn, seasonal and specialty drinks, bonfires, and more.

Meadow Brook Hall holiday events will run rain, snow or shine. No refunds will be issued unless Meadow Brook cancels due to unforeseen circumstances.

Parking is free and shuttle service is available.

*Meadow Brook members receive half-off admission to Holiday Walk and Winter Wonder Lights. Ambassador-level members attend free. A promo code must be entered at checkout. Accessibility

Most areas of Holiday Walk are accessible to wheelchairs and power scooters. Strollers are only permitted on the main level and must be checked at the Visitor Services desk for the upstairs portion of the tour. All outdoor areas of Winter Wonder Lights are accessible to strollers, wheelchairs and power scooters. Strollers are only permitted on the main level during the optional leg of the tour inside Meadow Brook Hall.

Visit the Holiday Shop to explore our wide range of merchandise, including unique holiday décor and ornaments, beautiful gifts, specialty items, Made-in-Michigan products, wine and more.

Located in the family garage in the courtyard, our Holiday Shop is open during our Holiday Walk and Winter Wonder Lights events from Nov. 29 through Dec. 30, 2024.

HOLIDAY WALK is a daytime, indoor holiday event experience that transports visitors through the historic mansion decorated for the holidays.

WINTER WONDER LIGHTS is a nighttime, outdoor holiday light show that transforms the estate with immersive light environments and features music, concessions, and more.

Holiday Walk is a self-guided indoor holiday attraction that takes visitors inside the historic mansion decorated for the holidays. Visitors explore all three main living areas of The Hall decked for the holidays, including the Great Hall, Ballroom, Living Room, Library, Bedrooms and more.

Winter Wonder Lights is a self-guided outdoor event and light attraction featuring unique interactive environments across the grounds of Meadow Brook Hall. An optional leg of the tour takes visitors inside the main floor of the historic mansion decorated for the holidays.

Guests can certainly visit both holiday attractions in the same day, however Meadow Brook Hall will close between 4 and 5:30 p.m. to make necessary operational changes from one event to the next.

Winter Wonder Lights features a variety of food and drinks, ranging from concession snacks such as popcorn to glow-in-the-dark cotton candy. Seasonally-inspired beverages, cocktails and kid-friendly drinks are available. See the menu.

Eat at Patti Finnegan’s Pub during the holidays and save 15% off any meal when you show your Holiday Walk or Winter Wonder Lights tickets. Holiday Walk and Winter Wonder Lights will take place on most dates between Friday, Nov. 29 and Thursday, Dec. 30, 2024.

Holiday Walk is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with last admittance at 3 p.m.

Winter Wonder Lights is from 5:30 p.m. to 9 or 10 p.m. with last admittance at 7:30 p.m. or 8:30 p.m., depending on the day of your tour.
