
Meadow Brook Hall invites the community to take a journey through nature and art at its exclusive limited-run floral art exhibition, Art in the Elements. The unique tour features more than 20 large-scale floral art sculptures and displays created by renowned floral artists from across the nation. The exhibition will delight from Wednesday, Sept. 2 through Monday, Sept. 7 and include two evening tours.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of Art in the Elements – an adventure of ten orbits around the sun. In 2026, we’re journeying Across the Universe, filling the estate with light, color and the cosmic. From black holes and nebulas to the dramatic display of the Aurora Borealis and an imaginative excursion into the beyond – will there be little green men? Space jellyfish? An infinity of flowers & creativity awaits.
In addition to the outdoor exhibits, guests are invited to step inside The Hall for a self-guided tour featuring floral designs inspired by the mansion’s extensive art collection and unique architectural spaces.
Art in the Elements will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday through Monday, Sept. 2-7. The special preview and evening events on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 2-3, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. let guests view the exhibit lit against the backdrop of the night sky and include a cash bar.

Advance tickets are required. Admission is $25 for adults, $22.50 for seniors, $20 for Oakland University affiliates, $10 for youth aged 6-12 and Oakland University students are free.
Admission includes a self-guided house and grounds tour and entrance into Knole Cottage, Danny’s Cabin and the Wilson Playhouse. Art in the Elements is the last weekend to visit the playhouses in 2026.

Please note, regularly scheduled Meadow Brook Hall tours will not be available during this time. Entrance to the grounds requires a ticket to the Art in the Elements tour.
Accessibility: The main touring route inside the historic mansion is accessible. Art in the Elements also takes visitors into our woodlands on wood-chip and gravel paths, which may not be fully accessible to users of wheelchairs and are not recommended for use by users of electric wheelchairs or power scooters.
