Meadow Brook’s Annual Holiday Walk
November 23 through December 23, 2018
Stroll through the elegant decor and sparkling lights of the Great Estate and experience the holiday magic of Meadow Brook. After the holiday tour, follow candy cane lane to the Land of Santa and Sweets.
New this Year!
- Holiday Lights & Winter Nights
Experience the Landmark In Lights during evening tours, the Great Estate will glow a little brighter this year. Guests will experience this National Historic Landmark trimmed in holiday lights, tour The Hall, then stroll down the lit path to the Land of Santa and Sweets to warm up by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa.
- Kids candy adventure
Throughout the Holiday Walk, kids of all ages can tour The Hall while looking for hidden sweets and treats along the way then collect their prize at the Candy Cane Cottage! Presented by Doc Sweets’ Candy Company.
- Visit with Santa
Santa will be at his workshop (located in Danny’s Cabin). Be sure to snap a selfie with Santa! Visits with Santa are included with your ticket admission only.
- Letters to santa A mailbox to the North Pole will be set up in Danny’s Cabin throughout the Holiday Walk so kids can write their wish lists to Santa.
- Guided Candlelight Tours
Guests will enjoy the opulent holiday decor displayed throughout The Hall while experiencing the ambient glow of fireplace flames and flickering candlelight during this special guided tour. Reservations are required. For more information click here.
Meadow Brook Holiday Walk Tour Hours
Self-guided Holiday Walk tours are offered daily from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.*
Self-guided evening Holiday Walk tour dates tbd.
“Holiday Lights & Winter Nights” begins at 5:00p.m.
*Last admittance one hour prior to closing
- Adults/seniors*: $20 per person or free for MBH Members
- Children (Ages 3-17): $7.50 per person
- Children (2 & under): free
- Oakland University faculty, Staff & Alumni: $15 per person
- Oakland University students: $5 per student
- military with id: $15
Reservations are not required
Seniors 62 and older can enjoy $5 off their holiday tour admission on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the Holiday Walk.
Meadow Brook Holiday Walk Group Tour & Lunch Package
Reservations are required for all Group Tours.

- Group Tour Adult | $12 per person
Price includes Holiday Walk tour admission only (10 person minimum).
- Group Tour Child (12 & under) | $5 per person
Price includes Holiday Walk tour admission only. Children do not count towards group minimum.
- School Groups (17 & under) | $5 per person Price includes Holiday Walk tour admission only. One supervising adult chaperone required for each 6 students.

Visitors Needing Special Assistance
Meadow Brook Hall is barrier-free and wheelchair accessible. To arrange for sign language interpretation of a holiday tour or a special lecture, call (248) 364-6200.
Smoking is not permitted inside Meadow Brook Hall. We ask that you not touch the art and furnishings to help preserve The Hall and its collections for the future. Strollers, umbrellas and large bags and backpacks must be checked at the Visitor Services Desk.
Non-flash interior photography for personal use is allowed during tours, community programs and special events at Meadow Brook Hall. Photography is permitted for private, noncommercial use only. Photographs may not be published, sold, reproduced, distributed or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner.
