Invest in the Moment

Wedding ceremony located at Meadow Brook HallIt’s the place where you share your first married kiss. The place you will point out to your children and grandchildren that you were married. The location for your wedding ceremony is the scene that launches the next stage of your life together, and one that will always be part of your story.

When choosing a wedding ceremony location, many couples are looking for a showpiece—a place that is special that will connect with happy memories for generations to come. That may feel like a tall order! But there are options to keep costs down. Couples may opt to invest in the moment with a more extraordinary wedding ceremony location and opt for a reception site that fits their budget. After all, planning a wedding is a good opportunity to practice the art of compromising!

The wedding ceremony is the first big place where everyone comes together—the bride(s), groom(s), the families and friends. It is the emotional apex of the day and one filled with greetings, photos and moments that last a lifetime.

All about the Photos

Wedding ceremony located at Meadow Brook HallMost of your formal wedding photos—including family photos, wedding party pictures and portraits of the newlyweds—will take place at the wedding ceremony site. These are often the wedding photos that end up on your mantle, at your parent’s house and on your grandparents’ walls.

The perfect place for a first look is at your wedding ceremony site. It allows the couple the chance to spend a quiet moment together in the space where they will soon be wed, without worrying about timelines and traffic.

Your photographer will get a lot of mileage out of the ceremony site, so it is important to choose a location that is versatile, beautiful and photographs well from every angle.

Location, Location, Location

Some wedding venues, like Meadow Brook Hall, offer a variety of locations and options for your wedding. Our beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony locations can accommodate up to 300 guests—whether you envision the dreamy Rock Garden with its outcropping of sandstone and cascading perennials or the dramatic Pegasus Garden, set against the bronze Colt Pegasus sculpture and tiled fountain.

Couples may choose to host just their ceremony on the estate or host up to 150 guests inside our Grand Ballroom. Or they may host both their wedding ceremony and reception at the historic mansion. Your ceremony location should be beautiful, memorable and a fitting place for such a big day.

By investing in a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony, couples are setting the stage for an unforgettable wedding experience for themselves and their guests.
