Meadow Brook Hall’s Dinner and a Movie event on Wednesday, Oct. 23 and 30

Film buffs are invited to a thrilling night out to watch a classic Alfred Hitchcock movie in Meadow Brook Hall’s historic Gothic-inspired Ballroom, while enjoying a casual three-course dinner and cash bar.

The Ballroom was the original location for the Wilson’s family movie theater and features a drop-down screen and built-in projection booth.

Starring American screen legend Grace Kelly alongside Ray Milland and Robert Cummings, “Dial M for Murder” is a twisted tale of a professional tennis player who wants to murder his wealthy wife, but settles for framing her instead. Film icons Ingrid Bergman, Cary Grant and Claude Rains team up for the romantic spy thriller, “Notorious.” Considered one of Hitchcock’s most masterful works, the film takes on a love triangle in the midst of an espionage operation to track down Nazis who fled to South America after the second World War.
