Seasonal Visitor Services Assistants
Responsibilities relate to providing customer service at Holidays at Meadow Brook events, including Holiday Walk and Winter Wonder Lights. Responsibilities include providing a positive and engaging experience for guests touring the house and grounds by directing guests, answering guest questions, and redeeming event tickets.
Select applicants must also be willing to work the cash register in the Museum Store and the concession stands. Museum Store duties include selling store merchandise, keeping the shop tidy during the shift, and stocking shelves when necessary.
Applicants must have the ability to work independently, service-oriented, professional appearance. Applicants must have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and be willing to learn. Applicants must be willing and able to work outside in the cold weather and be on their feet for a long period of time. Applicants should have an interest in interacting with people, give good eye contact, and be quick to smile.
Customer service experience is desired. Experience with operating and reconciling a cash register is also desired.
Seasonal Visitor Services Assistant applicants must be available and willing to work evenings and weekends, up to 40 hours a week during the Holidays at Meadow Brook – November 26- December 30, 2021.
