About Winter Wonder Lights
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN WINTER WONDER LIGHTS?
Winter Wonder Lights is a self-guided outdoor event and light attraction featuring unique interactive environments across the grounds of Meadow Brook Hall. An optional leg of the tour takes visitors inside the main floor of the historic mansion decorated for the holidays.
WILL THERE BE ANYTHING TO EAT OR DRINK?
Yes! Winter Wonder Lights features a variety of food and drinks, ranging from concession snacks such as popcorn and glow-in-the-dark cotton candy to hot meals in our outdoor Chimney Tops Café. Chimney Tops Café includes benches, bonfires and plenty of holiday cheer. Seasonally-inspired beverages, cocktails and kid-friendly drinks are available. The menu is available here.
WHEN DOES THE OUTDOOR EVENT TAKE PLACE?
Dates for the 2021 Winter Wonder Lights event are not yet available. Please check back for more information.
ARE TICKETS SOLD ON-SITE OR ONLINE?
All Winter Wonder Lights tickets must be purchased online in advance at meadowbrookholidays.com. Tickets are booked for a specific date and time to ensure a positive experience and safe guest capacity.
If you do not have a timed-entry ticket upon arrival, you can purchase a ticket on your mobile device. If maximum capacity for a time period has not been reached, you will be admitted to the event. However, if capacity has been reached, you will have to wait for the next available entry time—which could be on a different day.
If you are having trouble purchasing online, please email Visitor Services at with your contact information, date and time you would like to visit, and number of people in your party and they will reach out to you to help secure your ticket.
I’M A MEADOW BROOK HALL MEMBER. CAN I GO TO WINTER WONDER LIGHTS FOR FREE? DO I NEED TO RESERVE TICKETS?
Meadow Brook Hall members enjoy free access to Winter Wonder Lights. Meadow Brook members will be emailed a special code. Members still need to select a date and time for their tickets and enter the special code at checkout.
DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET?
You may print your ticket with the QR code or present your e-tickets on your mobile device.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AND WHEN DO I HAVE TO LEAVE?
You must arrive during the Entry Time reflected on your ticket (e.g., 5:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.) and expect to spend approximately 1.5 hours touring, though you may stay for as long as you want within our hours of operation.
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY TICKETS?
Tickets are nonrefundable, but you can reschedule your ticket(s) to another available date and time within 24 hours of the scheduled start time of your original tickets. There is a $5 per ticket rebooking fee associated with rescheduling.
WHAT IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER?
The outdoor event will take place rain, snow or shine.
WHERE DO I PARK?
Parking is free and shuttle service will be available.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
This outdoor event takes place primarily outside, so be sure to dress appropriately.
WILL PUBLIC RESTROOMS BE AVAILABLE?
Yes. Public restrooms will be available on-site near the ticket redemption and concession areas.
IS THE EVENT ACCESSIBLE TO STROLLERS, WHEELCHAIRS AND POWER SCOOTERS?
Yes. All areas of the event are accessible to strollers, wheelchairs and power scooters.
WILL THE GIFT SHOP BE OPEN DURING THE EVENT?
Yes. Our Holiday Shop will be open with unique merchandise and souvenirs available for purchase.
AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MY PET(S) WITH ME?
Only service animals are permitted on the grounds of Meadow Brook Hall and in the house.
Health and Safety Information
WHAT MEASURES ARE IN PLACE FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY DUE TO COVID-19?
Meadow Brook Hall is committed to the health and safety of visitors and staff. Face masks or cloth face coverings must be worn inside any building on the grounds.
Signage around the property reminds visitors to maintain social distancing.
Restrooms and other high-touch surfaces are disinfected multiple times throughout the day and hand sanitizing stations have been placed in key locations.
The tour route for the event is one-way to help guests to maintain social distancing.
All guests must complete the health assessment form (provided via email) the day of your visit and submit it to staff when redeeming your tickets. A form will also be available onsite.
