Join the garden club and help us grow.
With more than 150 members, from beginners to master gardeners, the Meadow Brook Hall Garden Club is dedicated to preserving, maintaining and enhancing our gardens. Members enjoy many aspects of gardening through programs and on-site training, plus a variety of member events, special lectures and public programs in an extraordinary setting.

The membership fee is $35 per person per year or $50 per couple per year. Experience is not required, since each garden has a captain who will assist volunteers. Master gardeners and candidates will earn volunteer hours toward your master garden required hours.
Interested in joining? New members must complete both the Volunteer Application Form and the Meadow Brook Garden Club Application when dues are paid.

Workdays and Events
Garden workdays are Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon, from April through October. Gardeners meet in the garden tent for coffee and assignments before going to work. Please bring hand tools (pruners, trowel, cultivator) and any other gardening items that you normally use.
The Garden Club’s Annual Perennial Plant Sale is held each May and features a wide variety of plants available for sale.

Lectures and Programs
Each month, the Meadow Brook Hall Garden Club offers special programs that feature a guest speaker. Coffee and refreshments are served at 9:15 a.m., and the program starts at 10 a.m. These events are open to the public with a $5 non-member donation. Reservations are not required.
Many special lectures will be available virtually through live stream. Current garden club members will receive an email with a link each month. Non-members wishing to attend can contact MBGCmembers@gmail.com to request a link.
