Experience the luxury of Meadow Brook, just as guests of Matilda Dodge Wilson did in the early twentieth century.
You are cordially invited to attend the Meadow Brook Gala.
This sparkling event evokes the experience of attending a fete at Meadow Brook Hall in its prime. It’s a rare opportunity to enjoy the Great Estate immersed in every luxury and attention – just as guests of Matilda Dodge Wilson did in the 1930s.
Our Meadow Brook Hall Gala will feature an exquisite evening of live strings and fine dining at the historic mansion. This exclusive evening features a champagne toast and full bar, live music, a five-course gourmet dinner, glittering reception, five-course dining, valet and so much more.
This glamorous event is black tie.

About the De Carlo Visitor Center
Meadow Brook is the home of visionary philanthropist and Oakland University founders Matilda Dodge Wilson and Alfred Wilson.
Today, Meadow Brook is a place to learn, connect and be inspired. With a vibrant collection of tours, events, programs and experiences, it is a vital part of the community. Filled with rich history and unique educational opportunities, this National Historic Landmark is a rare and special place.
After many years in the making, the De Carlo Visitor Center will dramatically enhance the visitor experience for every person who walks through our gates. Not only will it create modern and necessary functional spaces, but it will open up new avenues to share our story and history with special gallery space, educational programs and event opportunities for the community.
In short, it will elevate everything we do. The new building is located at the front of Meadow Brook’s current parking lot and its construction did not impact any of the estate’s historic areas, beautiful gardens or special event spaces.
