Hall-Oween: Bewitching Hour

Join us for a strolling costume party filled with tricks and treats for Hall-Oween: Bewitching Hour. Enjoy candy, popcorn and a cash bar in an enchanted – or accursed? – setting. Where will you be when darkness falls? What lurks in the mansion’s dark corners? Will you mingle with monsters? Gossip with a ghost?

Hall-Oween: Bewitching Hour promises grown-up trick-or-treating, signature cocktails (Poisoned Apple Punch, anyone?), spooky snacks and all the atmosphere of a ghostly gathering. Bring a date or friends and follow our lighted woodland path over the bridge and stop at stations for mysterious thrills and chills. Guests are encouraged to dress up in costume for this fun Halloween-themed evening experience. It’s an eerie extravaganza that offers a fang-tastic chance to be your most glamorous or ghoulish self.

A Costume Guide

Guests are encouraged to dress up in costume for this occasion. The event will take place both inside and outside, so plan your attire accordingly.

Stretch your imagination to find a fantastic Haunted Hall-Oween costume! Will you go as a classic Halloween creature such as a vampire, witch or wizard? A queen or a clown? Perhaps a superhero, robot or even a lion. There are so many costumes to choose from. If you’re feeling formal, simply don a masquerade mask or unique accessories.

Please note that no weapons, including prop or costume weapons, are allowed on the property.


About Olivia Van Goor

Singer Olivia Van Goor.

Olivia has carved her own path, learning from some of the finest jazz musicians in the Midwest, and has cultivated a rich, distinctive sound as a result. Her hard work has yielded two EP’s, first “When the Shadows Fall” in 2021 and “Don’t Be Mad At Me” in August of 2023. Both recordings feature a mix of original material and standards that come from early jazz, swing, blues and bebop styles.

Olivia Van Goor is an award-winning jazz vocalist based in Detroit, Michigan. Recently honored as a two-time winner at the 2025 Michigan Music Awards for Best Jazz Album and Best Jazz Single/Performance, she is an emerging talent you won’t want to miss.

She performs in a wide range of settings, from intimate duo performances to dynamic big band collaborations and everything in between. Olivia received “Best Vocalist” for the Preservation of Jazz Excellence Award in Detroit, many nominations by the Detroit Music Awards and recognition by many Michigan-based publications. Beyond recording, she has also composed, arranged, and produced performances, enriching the vibrant landscape of contemporary jazz music. She has collaborated with renowned musicians, including Detroit pianist Scott Gwinnell, two-time JUNO Award-winning vocalist Caity Gyorgy, and esteemed Ann Arbor bassist Paul Keller. Olivia continues to work with leading jazz artists across Michigan and the broader Midwest, sharing her passion for music and spreading joy through her artistry.
