Before our Great Estate’s inception, Meadow Brook’s matriarch, Matilda Dodge Wilson, told the architect she wanted the manor home designed with space to host parties for 250 people, including seated dinners for 40, plus comfortable living space for a family of four. She got her wish … and Meadow Brook Hall has been the scene for countless soirees in the many years since.
