Are you good with people and do you like to share knowledge? Then the Meadow Brook Hall docent program may be right for you! Volunteer docents give guided tours of Meadow Brook Hall to guests. They have taken docent training and have in-depth knowledge of the Hall and collection. To become a docent a person must be trained and certified.
This is a group of volunteers who help with hosting our special events, weddings, and large programs. They have some knowledge of the Hall and feel comfortable interacting with our guests.
The Museum Shop is open every day and these Meadow Brook volunteers are our front line of customer service. The Shop volunteer sells tour tickets and store merchandise.
This is a group of men who help preserve the Hall by doing maintenance projects and fundraising. They meet monthly and visit other historic sites throughout Michigan. There is a small membership fee to join this group. Click HERE for more information on the Meadow Brook Hall Squires.
Meadow Brook Garden Club Members
The Meadow Brook Garden Club is dedicated to preserving, maintaining and enhancing the gardens at Meadow Brook Hall as a place of enjoyment and learning. Gardening begins in April and continues through October, and the club also offers monthly lecture programs that are open to members and non-members (for a $5 donation).
All who are interested in gardening are invited to join in helping to maintain these beautiful Meadow Brook gardens, which are designated as a Proven Winners Signature Garden.
