Matilda Dodge-Wilson felt strongly that history, art and architecture should be shared with future generations. “Knowledge of the past helps people face the challenges of the future,” she once said. She also understood that it is through the preservation of properties like Meadow Brook Hall that future generations will have the opportunity to be inspired and educated by their history.
