“Meadow Brook Hall is a piece of Detroit’s automotive history,” Levin said. “The huge estate gives visitors some insight into the lives of the pioneers of the auto industry in the early 20th century.  By designating the estate as a National Historic Landmark, we can be sure that the historic structure will continue to be enjoyed by visitors for years to come.
